Production Azure, then the Moodle on top of it

Senior Software Engineer at Succeed Technologies in Bengaluru since August 2022. I keep Azure-hosted Moodle and PHP platforms running, then make the releases, cost, and incidents easier to handle.

Day to day that means Azure VMs and VM Scale Sets, Application Gateway, WAF, Redis, Azure MySQL Flexible Server, and shared file storage, with GitHub Actions and Docker for repeatable releases.

I also take live issues through to a fix: outages, slow courses and reports, access problems, security findings, and customer-specific behavior.

  • Implemented autoscaling for Elearnposh and Omega, monitored VMSS behavior under load, and troubleshot performance bottlenecks across application, database, storage, and infrastructure layers.
